Meet the Team
Anna Agar – Pilates Instructor
Anna has been teaching Pilates classes for five years & is passionate about the health & wellbeing of her clients. She has a Level 3 Diploma in MAT Pilates (HFE) & Reformer Pilates with MBodies Training Academy.
Anna also works for Xyla Health & Well-being, as a Senior Engagement Lead, working with GP practices across Greater Manchester to support with referrals into the NHS Low Calorie Diet programme, providing patients a pathway to possible remission of Type 2 Diabetes.
The programme supports patients core understand around nutrition, physical activity & behaviour change.
Sarah Hunter – Pilates Instructor
Sarah began her training with Modern Pilates in 2011 & has continued to update her skills with Cherry Baker Education, MBodies & Trigger Point Pilates. She has trained with movement experts & physiotherapists to enable her to work confidently & effectively with clients.
Sarah enjoys being creative & exploring what works for individuals when it comes to their well-being.
Sarah’s background is in biological sciences but from a love of dance & performing arts, she took to Pilates very quickly & has been both instructing classes & working therapeutically with personal training clients for over a decade.
Sarah strongly believes that health is holistic and that movement is healing, nourishing and restorative for both the mind & body allowing you to make small, manageable changes across all aspects of your life & slowly build on them.
Julie Swift – Tai Chi instructor
Julie has been both a student & teacher of Tai Chi & Chi Kung for over 16 years.
She qualified as a ‘Moving into the Light Tai Chi & Chi Kung’ Teacher & Energy Practitioner in 2014, after completing a three-year facilitators training course with Julie Wise.
Julie states ‘I know the amazing beneficial effect Tai Chi has had on me & I want to share the healing benefits with others. There are many benefits including balancing & healing your body, reduce stress & relieving anxiety by learning relaxation techniques, strengthening your immune system & generating more energy & help tuning into your body. All abilities are welcome to join our friendly group. It is an informal atmosphere, in a calming, peaceful setting, come along and see if you like it!’
Olga Gomez-Cash – Meditation
Olga has had a daily Meditation practice for many years, alongside her work in education. After training with the British school of Meditation, she is now holding guided sessions from our clinic as well as hosting online. ‘Meditating with Olga’ sessions support people to ‘wind down’, get into the flow of wellbeing, and engage in personal growth. Olga also collaborates with her local NHS Community Prevention & Engagement Team with Meditation for people living with chronic pain.
